The bulk of this book covers the exciting life of Edward Stevenson (1820-1897). He was born in Gibraltar and moved to Michigan. He joined the LDS Church in 1833 and was a pioneer to Utah in 1847. He was an untiring missionary at home and abroad, and a member of the First Council of the Seventy of the LDS Church. He kept an excellent journal and this book contains many of his exciting adventures. Also included in this book are the genealogies of many of the family, the descendants and wives of Edward Stevenson.
