Since the arrival of the first Kempton in America in 1623, the Kempton name has spread to almost every one of the fifty states of the United States of America. Manasseh Kempton arrived in July 1623 on the ship Anne, a vessel following the arrival of the Mayflower in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This book traces the Kempton name from New York to Utah and the entrance of the family name into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
